The Riley County Attorney, an elected position every four years, is Barry Wilkerson.

What We Do
County Attorney job duties include:
Child in Need of Care Cases - Such cases are confidential and therefore not public record; Often involve serious crimes where the child's life may be in immediate danger and is thus removed from the home through court proceedings.
Domestic Violence Offenses
Person Crimes - murder, rape, etc.
Sexual Assault Offenses
Various Misdemeanor and Felony Offenses
Multiple Agency Cooperation
The Riley County Attorney’s Office works with the Riley County Police Department, the Kansas Highway Patrol, Kansas Wildlife and Parks Department, Kansas State University Police Department, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, in addition to the following Federal Agencies: the DEA, FBI, ATF and the Secret Service.
