Employment, personnel policies and human resource administration are part of the Riley County Clerk's Office.
The Riley County Clerk's Office handles the payroll for all county employees except those that are employed by the Riley County Police Department. There are approximately 200 employees in which are paid bi-weekly. Payroll hours are processed through a centralized time-keeping system.
Riley County offers a competitive benefit package for all regular status employees. Regular part time positions that require at least 1000 hours annually are eligible for health insurance and retirement benefits.
