The Riley County HHW re-use room is temporarily NOT open to the general public. We will still accept household hazardous waste on an URGENT NEED only. If you need assistance in unloading your vehicle, please call ahead. Otherwise, we will have carts you can put your materials onto. We will empty the cart after you leave.
Business waste will be accepted during this time, but please call ahead for appointment. Please call or email the contact information below with any questions you may have.

Riley County Household Hazardous Waste works to keep a safe environment by providing a place to safely dispose of unwanted hazardous materials. The Riley County Household Hazardous Waste facility is the permanent collection center for common hazardous materials that can be found in households. We are also able to accept many hazardous waste items from Riley County businesses, but there will be a disposal fee. Please call ahead to schedule your delivery of business waste items by calling 785-539-3202.
We are located at 6245 Tuttle Creek Blvd., Manhattan, KS 66503. Our hours of operation are: Mon-Fri 7:30 AM-4:00 PM. Our facility houses both Riley County Noxious Weed Department and the Household Hazardous Waste Department.
