The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning today for the Kansas River and Wildcat Creek.
Both rivers are expected to crest tomorrow morning. As of right now we can expect for Wildcat Creek to crest just under 23 feet, this will cause moderate flooding along Wildcat Creek including some of Garden Way Apartments, Anneberg Park, Highland Ridge parking lots and other roadways. This level might close Wildcat Creek Bridge at Scenic Drive.
The Kansas river is predicted to crest around 20 feet on the Manhattan gauge. This could impact Hunters Island and some areas between Ogden and Zeandale that lie close to the river.
