Tuesday, August 14, 2018, Marlatt Avenue from Tuttle Creek Boulevard west to College Avenue will re-open to traffic. Please note, this will continue to be an active WORK ZONE with a 30 MPH Speed Limit.
Various construction operations will occur along the roadway during the next few weeks. Please drive with caution.
Additionally, Denison Avenue will remain closed to all through traffic from Marlatt Avenue to Kimball Avenue in order to complete the roadway reconstruction project. Approximately 60 working days remain on this contract.
The Denison Avenue & Marlatt Avenue Roadway Reconstruction Project is scheduled to begin Thursday, March 1, 2018.
This project is located on Denison Avenue from the City of Manhattan Fire Station, North to the intersection of Marlatt Avenue and on Marlatt Avenue from College Avenue East to the intersection of Tuttle Creek Boulevard.
No through traffic will be allowed.
The project has been allotted 165 working days, and is expected to be completed in November, 2018. Adverse weather conditions may cause unexpected delays. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the project.

When completed, Denison Avenue will be a three lane concrete curb and gutter roadway. Marlatt Avenue from Denison Avenue to Tuttle Creek Boulevard will be a four lane concrete curb and gutter roadway. Additional turn lanes will be added on Marlatt Avenue at both the Denison Avenue and Tuttle Creek Boulevard intersections. At this time, there are no immediate plans to install traffic signals at the Denison Avenue / Marlatt Avenue intersection.
