, Potential methamphetamine labs:
Those involved in the manufacturing of methamphetamines do not need an extravagant lab. This process can be completed in a portable lab such as a cooler. The chemicals used in this process, including anhydrous ammonia are very dangerous. Opening such a container which has contained ammonia exposes you to very serious health risks.
If you find a cooler or similar container with any of the following items
DO NOT DISTURB and call 911
:
bottles, containers or jars with liquid
portions of batteries
rock salt
drain cleaner, red devil lye, empty starting fluid cans

I was arrested for a drug related offense, can I receive a diversion?
No, The Riley County Attorney's Office has determined due to the serious problem in our community and all the associated problems to drug usage, possession and distribution, that diversion is
not
an option for these offenses.

I feel I have a substance abuse problem and would like to get help but fear criminal charges, what can I do?
Contact a substance abuse counselor for evaluation and potential treatment. For drug related offenses, counselors are not required to report to law enforcement.

I think my neighbor is distributing drugs as I have seen an excessive amount of traffic that remains for short durations, can I help to combat this problem?
