Noxious Weed Law

The noxious weed law was established in 1937 and dictates that every county in Kansas will have a noxious weed department and implement and enforce the Kansas Noxious Weed Law.

The Riley County Noxious Weed Department, located at 6245 Tuttle Creek Boulevard, moved into their current facility in March 1998. The department is staffed by six full time employees who have a total of over 99 years of experience working for Riley County.
